Alonzo has completed this pastel, which he has been working on for several weeks. He has named it “Forest,” and like most of his pastels, he would sell it for $100. As he often does in these works, he has noted the temperature of the scene in the sky! Now that the weather has cooled, he is returning to sculpture, working on the wax/clay blended base for his next piece. He calls this base lump his “baked potato.”
