For many years, Alonzo said that he was not interested in sculpting fantasy animals, but he changed his mind, and produced this unicorn, which he named Highway to Heaven. Its dimensions are 11 1/4" x 15 1/4" x 7 1/2", and it sells for $1800.

Here is Alonzo's first piece for this cooler "sculpture season." On TV, he saw a segment about this "biggest cow in the world," who lives in England. Did that ever get him excited!

Hello my name is Jon Lutes and I wanted to reach out to you and let you know what an inspiration to me YOU are. I heard of you when watching CBS Sunday morning and I was blown away by your talent. After seeing the show I looked online to see more of your work and saw many inspirational videos. I currently am a trainer for a residential facility and after watching one of your videos you said that “some staff are good, and some are bad.” I wanted to let you know that is why I took this position. I have worked system with folks of all ages with intellectual and developmental disabilities, in the public school system, day programs, as a job coach and now as a trainer for a residential facility because I became aware of those “bad people” that support folks that need the assistance. I hope to change the way all residential staff work with their clients. I just want to let you know what an amazing man you are and that you have made an impact in my life as a person and more so as someone attempting to change the world one person at a time. I hope that you have an opportunity to hear the impact you have made directly in me and amongst many people around the world. Keep making the world a beautiful place by being you.
