For many years, Alonzo said that he was not interested in sculpting fantasy animals, but he changed his mind and produced this unicorn, which he named Highway to Heaven. Its dimensions are 11 1/4" x 15 1/4" x 7 1/2", and it sells for $1800.

Alonzo will be attending the dedication and celebration of a special seating area at Kids Park Lafayette; see the attached flyer. The event, in part, acknowledges Alonzo's involvement with Kids Park and the children of Boulder Valley Schools. All are welcome.

Alonzo has had pigs on his mind. First, he roughed out a new version of his three pigs, then gave one a roll in the dirt. I asked him the name of the pig that was rolling in the dirt. He said it was Jim Morrison. I asked him why he would name him that, and he started singing...

When Alonzo saw that his sculpture, Young Arabian, was about to sell out (there is one copy left), he made a new, similar piece to replace it.

Just as Alonzo recently changed his mind about making a dinosaur, he again decided to try something new, a fantasy animal and made this unicorn. He named him Highway to Heaven.
